A great place to look for free sounds is ironically enough, on the websites that focus on selling drum samples and loops. ProducerLoops.com has almost 1400 sample packs available from 91 soundware manufacturers in multiple formats so it’s a great place buy and download new samples or loops. But…ProducerLoops also has a great freebies section!
You got to go check out Rekkerd.org! Not only does the site give up to date audio software news and reviews but they have a pretty extensive collection of drum samples, loops, VST’s, and sound banks that they offer for free download. You can download their entire sample archive of about 650 MB!
