There is a new free drumkit by Goldbaby Productions available; his DMX-606 sample pack.  Goldbaby’s kits have a pretty good reputation on the KVRAudio forum so try not to miss this one.

There’s a post at KVR Audio about free drumkits made available on The Synthgeek Pages.  Synthgeek has po ted several drumkits, loops, synthsounds, and miscellaneous effects.  There’s lots of cool stuff here (circuit bent Roland TR-66 samples) and some off the wall stuff too (sampled/processed recording of dogs and weed whackers).

A couple people asked for some more plugin presets and here are some of my favorites; Logic’s EVOC 20 Filterbank, Polysynth, and Track Oscillator plugins.  Load up one of these presets on your drum or vocal track and you get some way out there results.

Here’s yet another sample blog, Rhythm-Lab.  Rhythm-Lab primarily offers product reviews but also has a pretty decent collection of free drumkits and samples.  There’s more than 600 mb of royalty free sounds here.  Go get em!

A great place to look for free sounds is ironically enough, on the websites that focus on selling drum samples and loops.  ProducerLoops.com has almost 1400 sample packs available from 91 soundware manufacturers in multiple formats so it’s a great place buy and download new samples or loops.  But…ProducerLoops also has a great freebies section!

This site recently had some server problems or I would’ve posted about it sooner but no worries because they’re back on track.  I saw alot of users at KVR Audio talking about the samples available for download at SOUND resource.
